Meet the Hebridean Baker!

April 12 @ 18:30 - 20:00

£8.00

We are delighted to welcome Coinneach MacLeod, The Hebridean Baker, to the festival this year! Coinneach will be creating two delicious bakes using locally sourced ingredients. You’ll get the chance to chat, ask questions and taste his creations. There will also be copies available of Coinneach’s latest book, The Hebridean Baker at Home, available for purchase and signing at the event.

The Hebridean Baker at Home is filled with comforting cakes and bakes from his Double Dram Cake to Marmalade Shortbread, Fern Cake to Ecclefechan Tarts. Alongside delicious, hearty savoury dishes, including Leek Bread & Butter Pudding and Salmon Wellington, which are served up with a chapter full of Celtic recipes and signature Christmas bakes.

Coinneach was born and raised on the Isle of Lewis, the most northerly of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Inspired by traditional family recipes and homegrown produce, Coinneach rose to fame as the Hebridean Baker on TikTok in 2020. He has motivated his worldwide followers to bake, forage, learn Gaelic, enjoy a dram or two of whiskey, and to seek a more wholesome, simple life.
